The EU and Georgia sign a memorandum on financial aid for 45 million euros

BRUSSELS (Sputnik) - The EU and Georgia signed a memorandum on the delivery of 45 million euros of macro-financial assistance to the country, the European Commission reported in a press release.
"The Euro Commission signed a statement of mutual understanding with Georgia on the MFA, with an amount of up to 45 million euros", the document said.
The statement says the financing will help Georgia pay part of its needs and continue economic reforms.

Approximately 10 million will be available in the form of guarantees, while the remaining 35 million will represent medium-term loans under favorable financing conditions.
